RESOLVED, That John J. Sullivan, be and hereby is
granted a permit to install and operate a 1+0 -car off- street parking
facility in eonj=ction with a 30 -unit apartment building on
property located on the east side cf Western Avenue between
Cottage Avenue and the Northern Pacific Railroad right -of -way,
more particularly described as follows:
South 121 feet of the North 236 feet, Lot 20,
Cottage Homes;
all in accordance with plans dated Received December 23, 1965;
subject to the condition that said applicant- permittee, and his'
successors and assigns, shall make due compliance with all
applicable provisions of Municipal ordinances, State statutes
and rules and regulations of public authorities having cognizance.

This is in the matter of the application of John J. Sullivan for a
permit to establish a 40 -car parking lot accessory to a 30 -unit apart-
ment building on property located on the east side of Western Avenue
between Cottage Avenue and the Northern Pacific Railroad right -of -way.
The site is described as the South 121 feet of the North 236 feet,
Lot 20, Cottage Homes and is zoned "C" residence.
On November 4, 19655 the Board of Zoning considered the matter. The
staff reported that the property has a frontage of.121 feet along the
east side of Western Avenue -and a depth of 296.18 feet resulting in an
area of approximately 35,838 square feet. The proposed development
meets all the density and building ground coverage requirements of the
Zoning Code, and the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the plans and recom-
mends approval. The staff± futher' reported that the"plan meets the
design standards for off = street parking facilities subject to the
applicant providing an eight foot buffer planting strip along the south
.boundary line of the parking lot.
Based upon the above considerations, the_Board of Zoning recommends
approval of a permit to establish a 40-car-off-street parking facility
on the above described property subject to.,the eight;footIplanting
strip along the south boundary of the parking lot -.

lot in connection with a 30 -unit apartment building on the following
