RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, tools, material
and equipment for the Construction of a Dropshaft to be located eleven feet east
of the center line of Woodlawnn Avenue and four feet north of the center line of
Ford Parkway, Saint Paul, Minnesota, to LAMTE- NDNNFSOTA. COMPANY in accordance with
City plan and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #1575 of
said Layne - Minnesota Company for the contract price of $6,694.00, such bid being
the lower and said Layne- Minnesota Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
