WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
pursuant to Council File No. 179839, approved October 2,
1956, condemned a certain temporary easement for construction
purposes on the southerly 15 feet of the northerly 25 feet of
the south half of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 20, Township 29
North, Range 22 west, said temporary easement extending from
Wheelock Parkway to the terminus of Hoyt Avenue 462 feet west
of the west line of Edgerton Street; and
WHEREAS, the condemnation was duly recorded and it
appears that there is no further need for the City to retain
said temporary easement,due to the fact that construction work
has been completed; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are herewith
directed to execute a quit claim deed conveying and releasing
any right, title or interest of the City of Saint Paul in the
above described'premises.

The City Council by Resolution dated October
2, 1956 took ,a temporary easement along Hoyt Avenue
between Wheelock Parkway and Edgerton for the purposes
of, constructing a sewer. The temporary easement is
still of record and we are attempting to have a further
resolution issued by the City Council terminating that
temporary easement and we would like confirmation from
your Department that there exists no sewer lines in-
stalled in the following described property, to -wit:
The South fifteen (S.15') feet of the
North .twenty -five (N.251) of Lot four
(4), Gothier's Addition No. 2
being otherwise described as
The Southerly 15 feet of the N'ly 25 feet
of the S -1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 20,
T29, R22 extending from Wheelock Parkway
to Hoyt Avenue 462 feet W of the W line
of Edgerton Street.
Would you kindly endorse at the bottom of this letter
your approval or submit such information to us by
separate cover at your earliest convenience.
