WHEREAS, The Village of Shoreview has requested to serve with sanitary
sewers an additional portion in the central part of said Village through the
Village of Roseville sanitary sewer system that connects to that of the City
of St. Paul, and
WHEREAS, The Village of Roseville has by Ordinance No. 459 authorized
said extension of the Village of Shoreview system to serve the following
additional area in said Village of Shoreview:
The South I of Section 11; that part of Section 13 within the
Village of Shoreview; all of Sections 14, 23, 24 and that part
of Section 25 lying northerly of Interstate Highway 694 and
westerly of the Minneapolis -St. Paul and Saute St. Marie
Railroad right of way,; also that part of Section 26 located
northerly of Interstate Highway 694, and
WHEREAS, The City Council by Ordinance 13138, C.F. 226328, passed
January 4, 1966, has granted approval of the Village of Roseville ordinance
amendment that authorizes said additional area in the Village of Shoreview
to be-served through the St. Paul sewer system, be it
RESOLVED, That that part of the plans and specifications for the gravity
sewer upstream from the lift station for SEWER IMPROVEMENT No. 65 -6 prepared
by consulting engineers for the Village of Shoreview and heretofore submitted
to and approved by the Commissioner of Public Works and the Chief Engineer,
hereby are in all things approved without qualification, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications for the lift station
and .force main are herein specifically acknowledged as being temporary only
and shall be disconnected from the temporary point of connection that is
generally easterly of Lake Wabasso within one year after the A- Series of
sanitary interceptors described and defined in the "METROPOLITAN SAINT PAUL
SANITARY SEWERAGE REPORT" dated May, 1964 are available for connections; and
said temporary works of lift station and downstream sewers included in SEWER
IMPRIOVEMENT No. 65 -6, prepared by consulting engineers for the Village of
Shoreview and heretofore submitted to and approved by the Commissioner of
Public Works and-the Chief Engineer, hereby are in all things approved with
qua l i f i cat i,'on as-herein noted. -
