RESOLVED, That the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
be and hereby is granted a permit to install and operate a 71+-car
off- street parking lot at the southeast corner of RdDert and
Seventh Streets, more particularly described as follows:
Lot 4, Auditor's Subdivision No. 56;
all in accordance with plans dated November 9, 1965; subject to
the condition that said applicant- permittee, and his successors and
assigns, shall make due compliance with all applicable provisions
of-Municipal ordinances, State statutes and rules and regulations
of public authorities having cognizance.

The City Council referred to the Board of Zoning the application
of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for a permit to install
a 74 car off - street parking lot located at the southeast corner of
Robert and Seventh Streets. The property is described as Lot 4,
Auditors's Subdivision No. 56. The site is vacant and has a front-
age of 180 feet along East Seventh Street and 125 feet along Robert
Street which results in an area of 229500 square feet.
On November 18, 1965, the Board of Zoning considered this matter.
The staff reported that the site is in one of the blocks of the
Housing & Redevelopment Authority's downtown renewal area. The
proposed parking lot is a temporary use, and when the entire block
is acquired, it will be offered to a developer. The Traffic
Engineer has reviewed the plans and recommends approval. The
plans meet the design standards for this type of facility.
Based upon the above considerations, the Board of-Zoning recommends
the granting of the permit for the - parking lot on the above des-
cribed property in accordance with plans dated November 9, 1965.
