sion of the east half of Block 8, Stinson, Brown
and Ramsey's Addition to St. Paul, according to
the plat thereof on file and of record in the
office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey
County, which lies southerly of the following de-
scribed line:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of said
Lot 5; thence run westerly to a point on the
east line of Lot 14, Block 8, A. Vance Brown's
Subdivision of Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addi-
tion, distant 10 feet south of the northeast
corner of said Lot 14 and there terminating;
together with all right of access, being the
right of ingress to and egress from that part
of the above described tract, not acquired herein,
to Trunk .Highway No. 35E.

OPTION
In consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) in hand paid, receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned hereby grants to the State of
Minnesota an option from the date hereof to and including A "L v('c:4
19 , to purchase, free and clear of all encumbrance, for the s ' of_
the land in Ramsey County, Minnesota, described as follows: v
All that part of the following described tract:
Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 1, Dawson's Subdivision of the
east half of Block 8, Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition
to St. Paul, according to the plat thereof on file and of
record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for
Ramsey County;
which lies southerly of the following described line:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of said Lot 5; thence
run westerly to a point on the east line of Lot 14, Block 8,
A. Vance Broom's Subdivision of Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's
Addition, distant 10 feet south of the northeast corner of
said Lot 14 and there terminating;
together with all right of access, being the right of ingress to and egress from that
part of the above described tract, not acquired herein, to Trunk Highway No. 35E.
The State may within the time specified accept this said offer and option
by due notice in writing mailed to the undersigned at the above address.
The undersigned further agree upon acceptance of this option as aforesaid
to execute and deliver to the Std,e of Minnesota a good and sufficient deed of gen-
eral'warranty, which shall convey a good title of record, free and clear of all en-
cumbrance, to the lands hereinbefore described.
The receipt by the undersigned of said sum shall be in full compensation
for the conveyance by the undersigned of the premises and rights, above described
and for all damage, if any, resulting to any adjoining lands of the undersigned by
reason of the use made of the above described premises by the State of Minnesota.
The undersigned further agree that during the life of this option the State of
Minnesota shall have the right to enter and construct a public highway upon the
premises hereby agreed to be conveyed. The undersigned further agree, during the
life of this option, not to cut, damage, destroy or remove any tree or shrub or
other natural growth upon the hereinbefore described premises.

In the event that the State shall accept this option as aforesaid, it is
expressly agreed and understood that the undersigned shall then and at that time
execute and deliver to the State said deed of warranty for said premises, and that
the State shall have 60 days from and after the delivery of said executed deed to
examine title and cause a voucher to be duly issued, drain upogthe Trunk Highway
Fund, payable to the undersigned, in the said sum of $_ /ffo o'er , which said
voucher the undersigned agree to accept as payment hereunder.
