and Fixing Time of Hearing on the Award

In the matter of opening, widening and expanding the intersection of Seventh Street and
i Jackson Street by condemning and taking for street purposes that parcel of land described
as follows:
I Except Jackson Street, all that portion of Lot 7, Block 2, St. Paul Proper, described
as follows: Beginning at the Northwe .§t corner -of Lot,7, Block 2, St. Paul Proper, as
i platted; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said Lot 7, a distance of 99.43
feet to a point; thence Easterly parallel with the Northerly line of said Lot 7, a
distance of 9.0 feet to a point; thence Northerly along a strd:kght line to a point on
i the Northerly line of said Lot 7 that is 14.0 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof;
thence Westerly along said Northerly line 14.0 feet to the point of beginning.

The Commissioner of Finance ,having _submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved. '
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
Twenty -third day of November, 1966 , at ten o'clock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
