CIL RESOLUTION— GENERAL FORM
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Committee cancelled Formal Bid #148419
which calls for furnishing and delivering to the City of Saint Paul,
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Traffic Control, Traffic Sign
Shop, Parking Meter Division, 400 Automatic Parking Meters, for the
reason that there was only one bid received; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That Council Resolution, C. F. 230539, approved
October 18, 1966, be.amended.to read as follows:
"RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby authorized
with the consent of the Purchasing Committee, to purchase
from ROCKWELL MANUFACTURING COMPANY 400 Rockwell Model K
'Automatic Park -O- Meters_ at $56.00 each and 100 additional
instruction plates at $1.85 each, totalling $22,585.00; less
r allowance -for trade -in of 230 complete Parking Meters at $9.73
each and 130 additional clocks at $4.68 each, total trade -in
$2,846.30, making net amount of $19,738.704 such purchase
is made pursuant to Section 290 of the Charter of the City of
Saint Paul as this is patented equipment."
