OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOL TI N- GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY f nOMMISSIONER WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul heretofore initiated condemnation proceedings for the purpose of acquiring ad- ditional right -of -way necessary for the realignment•of Shepard Road and Warner Road in the vicinity of Jackson and Sibley Streets; and WHEREAS, the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul is the owner of a portion of Lambert Landing in said area, which property is not includkig in the above condemnation, but which is needed for certain street expansion in that vicinity; and • WHEREAS, the Port Authority has indicated its willingness to convey a portion of Lambert Landing to the City of Saint Paul for a nominal consideration and has executed a deed conveying the ,tract therein described to the City of Saint Paul, a copy of said deed being marked Exhibit "A ", attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference; now, therefore,•be it RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts from the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul the ,conveyance of the tract of land described in the aforementioned -copy of deed attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference -and directs that the proper officers of the City of Saint Paul record said instrument on behalf of said City. s F►PPR 0 YJE D. sst.
