RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the Purchasing Committee
in awarding contract for furnishing and delivering Coal, Coke and Briquets to various depart-
ments of the City of St. Paul for period of one year from September 1, 1966 (Including
Independent School District #625) as follows:
GREAT LAKES COAL & DOCK COMPANY - Minimum 200 ton to maxim�im of 1500 ton W.Va. Splint
Stoker Coal., 200 ton Screenings, 2 ton Nut Coke, 10 ton Briquets for the contract price
"of approximately $23,1+92.50
all in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#1943 of said Great Ickes Coal & Dock Company, such bid being the lowest, and said bidder
being a reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
