AUTHORIZATION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

In the matter of grading and surfacing with bituminous material the
alley in Block 4,,Alabama Addition Number 2, Block 2, Atwater Street Addition
and Block 2, Homestead Addition from Farrington Street to Galtier Street.
Also constructing a sewer in an easement to be obtained on, under and across
the west 4 feet of the east 8 feet of Lot 16, Block 2, Atwater Street
Addition, and all other work necessary and incidental to complete aaid
improvement, under Preliminary Order No. 228095, approved April 13, 1966
and Final Order No. 229869, approved August 230 1966.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications as submitted for the
above named improvement be and the same are hereby approved and the
Commissioner of Public Works be and he is hereby directed to do the work
at an estimated cost of $4,426.48 by City Forces and that the City
Purchasing Agent proceed to secure the necessary materials, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cost of the above improvement including
engineering and inspection expenses amounting to $663.97 plus Finance
Charges of $124.80 or a total of $5;215.25 be assessed against the
benefited property.
