RESQAED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department, Hamline & Carroll Avenues, Saint Paul, Minnesota, one Diesel Industrial
Tractor with front end loader, Lorain ;ML 350, to MINNESOTA MACHINERY, INC, in accord-
ance with City-specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #1987 of
said Minnesota Machinery, Inc., at a cost of $36,575.00 less allowance of $12,336.00
for one 1962 Michigan two yard tractor shovel Model 85A to be taken in trade, making
net amount of contract $24,239.00, such bid being the lowest and said Minnesota
Machinery, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the
proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of
the City of Saint Paul.
