PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTI N— GENERAL FORM COUNCIL NO. 229794 WHEREAS, subsequent to a preliminary order in condemnation the City of Saint Paul has negotiated a fair and reasonable pur- chase price of $x+6,690.00 for that certain property described as follows: The southwesterly 19 feet of Lots 1, 13, 14, 15 in Mayallts Subdivision of Block 1 of Whitney and Smith's Addition and Block 17 of Robert and Randallts Addition Tn the City of Saint Paul and WHEREAS, the price is to be paid in two installments and an agreement has been prepared for such payment and conveyance of the property between the vendor, United Properties Incorporated, a Minnesota Corporation, and the purchaser, the City of Saint Paul; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proposed purchase agreement between the United Properties Incorporated, a Minnesota Corporation,and the City of Saint Paul, acting by and through its City Council, approved as to form by the Corporation Counsel, be and the same hereby is in all things approved, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of said City. Said party of the First Part further covenants and agrees as follows: to pay all taxes due and payable in the year 1966 and all special assessments heretofore levied; it being understood and agreed as a condition hereof that any subsequent sidewalk improvements on Jackson Street abutting on or adjacent to the residual property owned by First Party shall not be assessed to First Party by reason of First Party's payment of the present sidewalk assessment covering the sidewalk to be removed by reason of the widening of Jackson Street.
