RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the action of the Purchasing Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract to CUTLER- MAGNER COMPANY for furnishing and delivering to the
City of Saint Paul, Water Department, Purification Plant, 1900 Rice Street, St. Paul,
Minnesota, approximately 9000 Tons Burned Lime (Calcium Oxide) at $17.80 per Ton at a
total cost of approximately $160,200.00, in accordance with City specifications therefor
and the Formal Bid #1889 of said Cutler - Magner Company, such bid being the lowest and said
Cu,,-t ler- Magner being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and
hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the - proper City
officials are hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint
Paul.
