RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs -in the action of the Purchasing Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract to NORTHWEST TEL- E -LECT for furnishing and delivering to the City
of Saint Paul, Department of Pub &ic Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale
Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, One hydraulically Powered Derrick at a total cost of $10,216.30
in accordance with City specifications therefor and the Formal Bid #1890 of said Northwest
Tel- E =Lect less $800.00 for trade -in of one 1958 Ford Derrick Truck, Model F600, making
net amount of contract $9,416.30, such bid being the lowest and said Northwest Tel"E -Lett
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
