Whereas, Additions which might prove to be necessary in the Improvement
,described as the CARROLL AVENUE SEWER RELOCATION, Comptroller's Contract L -6822,
Beatson & Kelly, Inc., Contractor, have been provided for in the Specifications, and
Whereas, It has been found necessary to make the following Addition:
ADDITION
8,076.F.B.M. of sheeting at $300.00 /M $2,422.80
Total Addition $2,422.80
This project includes the construction of 136 feet of 15" R.C. pipe
.sewer in North Fairview Avenue, between a new 16" water main and a new
telephone duct line. The available space between the water main and the
telephone duct line requires the use of sheeting to preserve the structural
stability of these lines and it is deemed necessary to leave the sheeting
in place after the sewer line has been placed to avoid any disturbance of
the utility,4nstallations.,

'Whereas, The total addition is $2,422.80 and the Commissioner of Public 'Works
.has agreed with the Contractor that the amount of $2,422.80 is the correct sum to
.be added to said contract, therefore be it
Resolved, That the City of St. Paul through its City Council approves the fore-
going addition made in accordance with the Specifications in the sum of $2,422.80
.said amount to be added to the lump sum consideration named in the contract known
as Comptroller's L -6822, and which amount is to be financed through Minnesota
.Highway Department Agreement No. 54879.
