This is written in response to the Petition of John J.
Yannarelly to rezone from "C" Residence to Coma rcial property _
located on the 'south side o n e $en a •
Avenue and Edgerton Street, described as Lot 11, Block 1,
Joseph R. Weida's Addition.
This matter was considered at the May S, 1966, Board of Zoning
meeting. The property has 32 feet of frontage on Maryland
AvenUs and an area of 3,928 square feet. The area zoning is
as•followst the frontage along Payne Avenue, Commercial; the
frontage slang Edgerton Street, "B" Residence; and the _pro -
party- between these two frontages is zoned "C" Residence. The
area land use is as follows, Payne Avenue is developed commsr•_
aially; north and west, one and two - family; south across the
.allay, a church and one - family.
The property is adjacent and across an alley from a Commercial
district and is to be used, if rezoned, for parking.. Since
there is a need for acoesaory parking in the area, it is the
redoe■n#datioo of the Board that the property be rezoned to
Commercial.
Very truly- yours,
