of Damages
In the matter of changing the grade of the east -west alley in Block 3, Hayden Heights,
from the west line of Lot 22, to the east north -south alley, to conform to the grade
as shown on the profile on file in the Department of Public Works. Also condemning
and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills, in-
cluding right of removal of lateral support from subject land or remainder thereof,
occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in'the regrading and
surfacing with bituminous material the east -west alley in Block 3, Hayden Heights

from the west line of Lot 22 to the east north -south alley
under Preliminary Order 996616 , approved January 5, 1966 ,
Intermediary Order 228294 , approved April 26, 1966 ,
Final Order 999319 , approved .1„nP 30, 1966
The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a. public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
24th day of August, 1966 , at ten o'clock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
