In the Matter of condemning and taking an easement for the purpose of constructing
and maintaining a public sewer on, under and across the west 4 feet of, the east 8
feet of Lot 16, Block 2, Atwater Street Addition from Atwater Street to the alley
in the rear of said lot.' Also condemning and taking a temporary-easement for con-
struction purposes on a strip of land 12 feet in width on the west side of the above
easement and a strip of land 4 feet in width on the east side of.the above easement
from Atwater Street to the alley in Block 2, Atwater Street Addition
under Preliminary Order 228097 approved April 13 1966
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement for the purpose of constructing and maintaining
a public sewer on, under and across the west 4 feet of the east 8 feet of Lot 16,
Block 2, Atwater Street Addition from Atwater Street to the alley in the rear of
said Lot. Also condemning and taking a temporary easement for construction pur-
poses on a strip of land 12 feet in width on the west side of the above easement
and a strip of land 4 feet in width on the east side of the above easement from
Atwater Street to the,alley in Block 2, Atwater Street Addition
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 225.00
Resolved Fu:rther, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 23rd day of
August, 1966 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter,- stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
