Dear Sir:

This is written in response to the application for a Permit
by John Lemke, Harry Daubenspeck, and Al Tufte to operate
a auto dismantling yard on the northeast corner of Dayton
Avenue and Pascal Street described as the South one -half
of vac. alley adjacent & following Lot 21 & the West one-
half of Lot 22, also North part of vac. alley adjacent &
Lots 16 through 20.
This matter was considered at the May 19, 1966 Board of
Zoning meeting. The zoning on the property and in the
surrounding area is Heavy Industry. The surrounding uses
are non - residential, either industrial or commercial.
It was the findings of the Board that the proposed use
would be compatible with the area uses provided there is
proper screening. Therefore, the Board recommends approval
of the application for the Permit provided that a seven
foot high, tight, board fence is constructed around the
site and properly maintained.
Very truly yours,
