RESOLVED, upon the pertinent appeal, under the Zoning
Code, by Arthur S. Jurgenson, owner of the subject real
estate, situate in the City of Saint Paul, located at the
southwest corner of Magnolia Avenue and Barclay Street,
more particularly described as the North 170 feet of Lots 1
_and 2, Ames Out Lots, partially zoned in B Residence
District and partially zoned in Light Industrial District,
under said Zoning Code, that the provisions of said Zoning
Code hereby are determined and varied in their application
to said real estate, as and to the extent necessary there -
.or, and that a special permit hereby is granted for the
extension of the Light Industrial District use presently
permitted on a portion of said hereinabove described real
estate to all of the same; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That Arthur S. Jurgenson be and hereby
is granted a permit to construct a 37 -car parking lot on
property located at the southwest corner of Magnolia
Avenue and Barclay Street, more particularly described as
follows:- - --
The North 170 feet of Lots 1 and 2, Ames Out Lots;
all in accordance with plans dated Received May 3, 1966;
subject to the condition that said applicant - permittee -,
And his successors and assigns, shall make due compliance
with all applicable provisions of Municipal ordinances,
State statutes and rules and regulations of public authorities
having cognizance.

This is written in response to the application for a
Permit by Arthur S. Jurgenson to construct a 37 -car
parking lot on the southwest corner of Magnolia Avenue
and Barclay Street described as,the North 170 feet of
Lots 1 & 2, Ames Outlots.
This matter was considered at the May 19, 1966 Board
of Zoning meeting.. The staff reported that the plans
meet the design standards for this type facility and
the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the plans as to
traffic and recommends approval. Therefore, the Board
of Zoning recommends approval of the application for
the Permit.

Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the Appeal of Arthur S.
Jurgenson to extend Light Industrial zoning to the entire
site on property located on the southwest corner of
Magnolia Avenue and Barclay Street described as the North
170 feet of Lots 1 & 2, Ames Outlots.
This matter was considered at the May 19, 1966 Board of
Zoning meeting. The site is zoned Light Industrial for
the North 100 feet and the remainder is "B "' Residence.
The appellant wishes to extend the Light Industrial zoning
to the entire site and construct a 36 -unit apartment
building. It was the findings of the Board that it would
be reasonable to extend the zoning in order that an
apartment building may be constructed. Therefore, the
Board recommends approval of the Appeal.

Dear Sirs:
We wish to make application for a parking permit for off - street parking for 37
cars in connection with a 36 Unit Apartment Building which we propose to install
at the southwest corner of the intersection of Magnolia and Barclay St., St. Paul,
Minnesota. The Legal•Description is as follows:
"North 170 feet of .Lots I and 2, Block 2, Ames Outlots"
The front 125 feet is now light industrial zoning and the rear 45 feet is "B"
Residential. We wish to make an appeal to extend the front zoning to include
the rear 45 feet of this property to permit us to install the garages and parking
area as indicated on the attached plot plan.
