The staff reported that the plans meet the design standards for this type facility and the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the plans as to traffic and recommends approval. Jurgenson to extend Light Industrial zoning to the entire site on property located on the southwest corner of Magnolia Avenue and Barclay Street described as the North 170 feet of Lots 1 & 2, Ames Outlots. This matter was considered at the May 19, 1966 Board of Zoning meeting. The site is zoned Light Industrial for the North 100 feet and the remainder is "B "' Residence. The appellant wishes to extend the Light Industrial zoning to the entire site and construct a 36 -unit apartment building. It was the findings of the Board that it would be reasonable to extend the zoning in order that an apartment building may be constructed. Therefore, the Board recommends approval of the Appeal. We wish to make an appeal to extend the front zoning to include the rear 45 feet of this property to permit us to install the garages and parking area as indicated on the attached plot plan.
