WHEREAS, in connection with the condemnation
proceedings for the right -of -way requirements for Stage
T of the Saint Paul Flood Control Project, the Bureau of
Valuations has negotiated a purchase of certain property
apparently held in fee by the American Hoist and Derrick -
Company for the Construction of an access road and large
manhole over said lands; and

WHEREAS, the negotiated price to the land which
is held in fee by said American Hoist and Derrick Company
is $13,736.50 upon condition that the City convey to American
Hoist and Derrick Company, a small parcel of land previously
condemned under Final Order 200880, approved February 21,
1961, and no longer required for flood control facilities;
now, therefore,be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers be and
hereby are authorized and directed to pay to American Hoist
and Derrick Company the sum of $13,736.50 upon the furnishing,
by American Hoist and Derrick Company, to the office of the
°,Corporation Counsel, proper evidence of record title to the
following described property:

lines: Commencing at the northwest corner of the
American Hoist and Derrick Company Building No. 13;
thence bearing south 17018' east to the intersection
with a line 244.201iorthwesterly of and parallel to
the northwesterly line of Block 3, Bazil and Robert's
Addition to West St. Paul which is the point of begin-
ning of the property to be described; thence,bearing
southwesterly along said parallel line to the point
of intersection with the extended northeasterly line
of Lot 2, in said Block 3; thence bearing south
13031' west to the point of intersection with a
line hereafter referred to as line "A" and described
as a line running from a point on the extended
