WHZREAS,-TYfe Council did by Resolution No. 229251,
appr ed June 28, 1966, authorize the issuance and sale of
$980,000 Trunk Highway Bonds, Series No. 1+, to be dated July
1, 19662 and as the proper City officers have fully caused
the said bonds to be advertised for sale and said advertisement
reauired sealed bids to be submitted on July 19, 1966, and as
the bids were submitted and - opened, examined and tabulated by
the Council and the joint bid of FIRST NATIONAL CITY BANK,
DREXEL HARRIMAN RIPLEY SECURITIES CORP., Joint Managers and Associates
was found to be the most advantageous, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the joint bid Of FIRST NATIONAL CITY
BANK, DREXEL HARRIMAN RIPLEY SECURITIES CORP., Joint Managers and
Associates
be accepted and said bonds awarded at a price, namely, par and
accrued interest with a coupon rate of 3.90 percent and a
premium of $7,143.22 ; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Council hereby ratified
and approves each and every act of the Sinking Fund Committee
in connection with the sale of said bonds.
