RESOLVED, That the State;of Minnesota, Department of
Administration, be and hereby is granted a permit to construct
a 128 -car parking lot and private filling station on property
bounded by Robert Street, Columbus Avenue, East Central Park and
East Central Avenue, more particularly described as follows:
Lots 1 through 22, Blockl6, the south 50 feet
of the east half of Block 7; the south 25 feet
of the west half of Block 7; Re- arrangement of
Blocks 6 & 7, Central Park, and vacated alley
accruing to said lots; {
all in accordance with plans dated Received November 4, 1966; sub-
ject to the condition that said applicant- permittee, and its
successors and assigns, shall make'due compliance with all applicable
provisions of Municipal ordinances,) State statutes and rules and
regulations of public authorities having cognizance.

This is written in response to the application for a Permit
by the State of Minnesota, Department of Administration, to
construct an 128 -car parking .lot and private filling station
in the block bounded by Robert Street, Columbus Avenue, test
Central Park and East Centrah'Avenue described as Lots 1
through 22, Block 6, the south 50 feet of the east half of
Block 7; the south 25 feet of the west half of Block 7;•
rearrangement of Blocks' 6 & 7 Central Park Addition and
vacated alley accruing to_sai,d lots.
At-the November 17, 1966 Board of Zoning meeting the staff
reported that the'plans meet'the design standards for this
type facility and the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the
plans as to traffic and recommends approval. Therefore, it
is the recommendation of the Board that the Permit be
granted. I -

You are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House in the City of
St. Paul at 10:00 a.m. on December1222 1966, on the application of
Minn. Dept. of Administration for permit to construct a 128 -car
parking and private filling station on the following property:
Lots 1 thru 22, Block 6, the south'50 feet of the East 1/2 Block 7,
and the -south 25 feet of the west 1/2 Block 7, Rearrangement of
Blocks 6 and 7 Central Park Addition and the vacated alley accruing
to said lots. The property is located in block bounded by Robert,
Columbus, East Central Park and East Central Avenue.
Our records indicate that the State of Minnesota has filed an action
in District Court to acquire all of the above described parcels.
Owners as shown on our records areibeing notified pending completion
of the court action.
