IL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM
In the Matter of a hazardous building and
accessory building,being that certain two -story
single - family dwelling known and described as
518 Fuller Avenue in the City of Saint Paul and
situated upon those premises legally described
as Lot 5, Block 9, Mackubin and Marshall's
addition to Saint Paul according to the plat
on file and of record in the Office of the
Register of Deeds in and for the County of
Ramsey, State of Minnesota.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution C. F. 230791, adopted
November 10, 1966 a public hearing was duly held on October 11,
19669 before the 6ouncil of the City of Saint Paul, said hearing
pertaining to the condition of the structure located at 518 Fuller
Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Upon the facts presented at the said hearing,
consisting of photographs, inspection reports and the recommenda-
tion of the City Architect, it was found and determined by the
City Council that according to the records and files of the office
of the Register of Deeds, the last record owner of the above
described property is Annie N. Schultz, that there is a martgage
in favor of Margaret Jennewein, and that there are no other lien
holders of record that according to the records and files) of the
Ramsey County Auditor, the named taxpayer of the said property is
A. H. Markert; that it was further determined that'the above -
described building constitutes a hazardous building within the
definition of Chapter 393, Laws of 1965, for the following reasons:

a) The building is standing vacant and
open and is subject to vandalism.
b) There is a structural failure of the
rear porch and a'portion of the rear
porch has collapsed.

c) The chimney is badly cracked and the
siding is broken.
d) The rear entrance to the basement is
broken and the steps are in a dangerous
and hazardous condition.
e) The sills of 'the windows are rotting
and are in ajstate,of decay.

The rear foundation wall in the
basement is partially collapsed
and the back basement floor is
badly broken.
g)
The windows are broken, there are large
holes in the,plaster, the floors on the
first and second floor are buckled, the
posts are missing from the stairwell
railing leading to the second floor, the
plumbing system is inoperable and in
poor condition, the electrical system
existing does not comply with the
Building Code of the City of Saint Paul
inasmuch as there exists illegal wiring
throughout the second floor, the radia-
tors are broken and the heating system
is inoperable.
h)
Accessory building on the rear of the
property is in an extreme condition of
dilapidation and is beyond reasonable
repair.
i)
This building is unfit for human habitation
in its present condition and the above ,
corrections must be made in compliance"
with the Building and Housing Code of the
City of Saint Paul in order to make the
building habitable.

RESOLVED, That ih accordance with Chapter 393,Iaws of
1965, and based on the foregoing'findings of the Council, the
Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make the following
Order:
1. The owners of the above - described building and
accessory building shall make the same safe-and not detrimental to
the public health, safety and welfare by having the said building
and accessory building razed and the materials therefrom removed
from the premises within thirty;(30) days of the date of the service
of this Order, or, in the alternative, begin to correct the
hazardous conditions and correct the hazardous conditionsly doing
the following:
a) Have the building'sewer plugged.
b) Remove all paper and other com-
bustible materials from the
building and securely close and
keep closed all doors, windows,
or other openings into the dwelling.
c) Remove the hazardous porches.
d) Remove the accessory building.
2. Unless such corrective action is taken to comply with
this Order or an answer served upon the City of Saint Paul and filed
in the Office of the Clerk of the District Court of Ramsey County,
Minnesota, within twenty (20) days from the date of the service of
this Order, a motion for summary enforcement of this Order to raze
and remove the said building and accessory building will be made to
the Ramsey County District Court.

3. In the event that the building and accessory building
is to be razed by the City of Saint Paul pursuant to judgment of the
District Court, all personal property or fixtures which may unreasonably
interfere with the razing and removal of this building shall be
removed within ten (10) days from the entry of judgment; and if not
so removed, the City of Saint Paul shall remove and dispose of such
personal property and fixtures as provided by law.
4. If the City of Saint Paul is compelled to take any
corrective action herein, all necessary costs expended by.the City
will be assessed against the above- described real estate and collected
as other taxes;
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That a certified copy of this resolution
and Incorporated Order herein be served upon the last record owner of
the above - described property and upon other interested pasties in the
manner provided by law; be it

November 29, 19669 be and the
Council action and Order.
