RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all supervision, labor, tools, equipment and
all other services and facilities necessary for the complete modification of the sludge

field dikes, located in the Village of Maplewood, east of the Soo Line Railroad R/W
and north of County Road A -2 (Roselawn Avenue) St. Paul, Minnesota to W. J. EBERTZ
COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #1988 of said W. J. Ebertz Company for the contract price of $13,780.00 (at unit
price bid) such bid being the lowest and said W. J. Ebertz Company being a reasonable
and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
