C N L RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM
PRESENTED BY
COMMISSIONER
WH�EREAS, Chapter 705, Laws of Minnesota for 1965, provides
for the conversion of Special School.District No. 2 to Independent
School District No. 625; and
- WHEREAS, said law requires the Council of the City of
Saint Paul to certify a tax levy for the support of the Saint Paul
Teachers Retirement Fund Association; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that
it hereby approves the budget as submitted by the Saint Paul
Teachers Retirement Fund Association for the year 1967 in the
amount of $1,655,599.00 and hereby levies a tax in the amount
of $1,672,155.,00, including estimated shrinkage; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the County Auditor is hereby re-
quested to spread such tax levy as a separate item in its tax
rate and to report the same as a separate item in each tax
settlement to the City of Saint Paul; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Comptroller of the City of
Saint Paul is hereby directed to establish a separate and dis-
tinct Trust Fund Account to which all tax settlements are credited
and from which all payments to said Association shall be charged;
and be it

FINALLY RESOLVED, That this Council hereby directs the City
Clerk to forthwith certify this tax levy resolution to the County
Auditor of Ramsey County and a copy of the same'to Independent '
School District No. 625 and to the Saint Paul Teachers Retirement
Fund Association.
