WiiEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 1g65, Sec . 18.022 permits
Saint Paul, among other municipalities, to levy a tax for the
Dutch Elm Disease Control�.�program. upon complying with certain
c'onditions; and
_ WHEREAS, Saint Pau1 has met these conditions and
has levied a tax for this purpose within the limits prescribed
I in said law; and
, WFiEREAS, said law requires a separate fund �o which
the proceeds of any tax so levied shall be deposi�ed, and only
expenses incurred for the purposes prescribed in said law may
be paid from auch fund; now, therefore, be it
RESOL�TED, That the City Comptroller is hereby
authorized and directed to establish said special fund, to be
designated, "Dutch Elm Diaease Control" and assign the proper
code to said.account; and be it further
RESOLVFD, That the proper City officers are hereby
authorized to approve. expenditures out of said fund for the
` Duthh Elm Dis.ease 8ontrol �rogram.
