WHEREAS, Harry Hoidahl and Robert Berthiaume, employees of the
Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Fire Protection, were injured
in a third party accident on April 1.1, 1964, while engaged in the
pe�formance of their duties for said Bureau; and �

WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount of ��
$173. 75 therefor, and said employees were disab].ed from work for a
period of time , being paid salary in the amount of $465. 78; and
WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employees ,and the other party involved in said accident, out
of which the City will receive $319.77 of its subrogation interest
by reason of injury to its employees , less attorneys fees of $79.94,
or a net settlement to the City of .$239 .83 , now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to execute the necessary releases therefor, and to endorse drafts .
in payment thereof, and to accept in ful�, final and complete ,
settlement of its elaim herein the sum of $239.83 ; that of s aid sum
$175.08 is credited to the Fire Department Salary Fund and $64.75
to the Workmen's Compensation Fund.

performance of their duties for said Bureau; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount of
$173.75 therefor, and said employees were disabled from work for a
period of time, being paid salary in the amount of $465. 78; and
WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employees and the other party involved in said accident, out
of which the City will receive $319.77 of its subrogation interest
by reason of in�ury to its employees, less attorneys fees of 579.94,
or a net settlement to the City of $239.83, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to execute the necessary releases therefor, and to endorse drafts
in payment thereof, _and to accept in full, final and coanplete
settlement of its claim herein the sum of $239.83 ; that of said sum
$175.08 is credited to the Fire Department Salary Fund and $64.75
to the Workmenfs Compensation Fund.
