RESOLVED� That the Council t�reby approves the award of the Purchasing Co�ittee therefor
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering f.o.b. City of St. Paul Water
Department,McCa.rron's Water Treatment Plant, 1900 Rice Street, Soo Line Siding, St. Paul,
Minnesota, for periocl of one year beginning November 1, 1966, approximately 500 tons
LIQUID CHLORINE in tank car shipments of 30 to 55 tons each, to LYON CHEMICALS, INC.
at a price of $77.95 per net ton, making total amount of contract approximately $38,975.00,
in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid �1972 of said Lyon Chemicals, Inc.,
such bid being one of identical bids and said bidder being a reasonable and reliable one
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract
� therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
