RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of the Sewer in MAGNOLIA
AVENUE from Hazel Street to Van Dyke•Street and in VAN DYKE-STREET from Mechanic
Avenue to Magnolia Avenue to - BEATSON & KELLY, INC for the contract price of
$7,880.00 (Plus Engineering Charge of $1,024.40, Inspection Charge of $157.60
and Finance Dept. Charges of $158.40) such bid being the lower and said
Beatson & Kelly, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of St. Paul.
