RESOLVED, That St. Joseph's Hospital, owner of the
subject real estate, be and hereby is granted a permit to
install and operate a temporary 109 -car parking lot on
property located at the northeast corner of Main and Ninth
Streets, more particularly described as follows:
Lots 5 through 8, Block 57, Irvines Enlargement
of Rice and Irvines addition to the town of
Saint Paul;
all in accordance with final plans dated Received July 27,
1966; subject to the condition that said applicant- permittee,
and its successors and assJgs, shall make due compliance
with all applicable provisions of Municipal ordinances,
State statutes and rules and regulations of public authorities
having cognizance.

Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application for a permit by
St. Joseph's Hospital to develop a temporary 109 car parking
lot on the northeast corner of Main and Ninth Streets, also
described as Lots 5 through 8, Block 57, Irvine's Enlargement
of Rice and Irvine's Addition. -
This matter was considered at the August 4, 1966, Board of
Zoning meeting. The staff reported the plans meet the design
standards for this type of facility. The Traffic Engineer has ,
reviewed the plan as to traffic and recommends it for approval.
Therefore,.the Board of Zoning recommends approval of the permit
to construct this temporary parking lot. z t

Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House in the City of
St. Paul at 10:00 a.m. on September 8, 1966, on the application of
St. Josephs Hospital for permit to construct a 109 car parking lot
on the following property: Lots 5 thru 8, Block 57, Irvines
Enlargement of Rice and Irvines Addition. The property is located
on the northerly side of West Ninth Street between Main Street and
Smith Avenue.
