In the matter of opening, widening and expanding the intersection of Seventh Street
and Jackson Street by condemning and taking for street purposes that parcel of land
described as follows:
Except Jackson Street, all that portion of Lot 7, Block 2, St. Paul Proper,
described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 2,
St. Paul Proper,'as platted; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of
said Lot 7, a distance of 99.43 feet to a point; thence Easterly parallel
with the Northerly line of said Lot 7, a distance of 9.0 feet, to a point;
thence Northerly along a straight line to a point on the Northerly line
of said Lot 7 that is 14.0 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof; .
thence Westerly along said Northerly line 14.0 feet to the point of be-
ginning

1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. `.
' 2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to open, widen and expand the intersection of Seventh Street and Jackson Street

House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. - -7
