WHEREAS, By Resolution adopted March 31, 1966, Council File 227934, the Council of the
City of Saint Paul, did award the contract for furnishing ASPHALT ADDITIVE to the City of
St. Paul Department of Public Works, St. Paul, Minnesota, for the period from April 1, 1966
through March 31, 1967 to the Carlisle Chemical Works, Inc. for the contract price of
approximately $5,886.00 in accordance with specifications and the Formal Bid #1656, and
WHEREAS, it was necessary to purchase an additional 58,600 lbs. of Asphalt Additive to
meet the needs of the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Street Maintendnce, and thereby
increase the contract price by $5,748.66; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the contract for furnishing Asphalt Additive, be amended to the extent of
increasing the contract price by $5,748.66, subject to all other conditions of the
specifications and the Formal Bid #1656, Contract No. G4113 of the Carlisle Chemical Works,
Inc., and the proper City officials are hereby directed to execute the amended contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul.

WHEEM, By Resolution adopted March 31, 1966, Council File 2279349 The Council of the

increase the contract price by $5,71+8.66, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Contract for furnishing Asphalt Additive, be amended to the extent of
increasing the contract price by $5,71+8.66, subject to all other conditions of the
specifications and the Formal Bid #1656, Contract No. G4113 of the Carlisle Chemical Works,
Inc., and the proper City officials are hereby directed to execute the amended contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
