PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK i 0 aoy�pv ESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONI 23021.9 FILENCIL NO. after a very lengthy cooperative effort on the part of the Chamber of Commerce, various labor organizations, the Civil Service Bureau,and the Personnel Committee, the Council adopted as part of its salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446, a salary formula which sets forth a procedure for establishing salaries for positions in the Graded Division; and, WHEREAS, such salary formula is based on a three -year cycle; and WHEREAS, such salary formula is in its second year of operation; and WHEREAS, such salary formula provides for, and so far has proved to be, a systematic, fair and equitable method of setting salaries so that they are compar- able to those paid by industry for like positions; and, WHEREAS, such salary formula has continued to receive general acceptance by the employees, the administration, and the publics now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the provisions of the salary formula will continue to be followed and that no other formula will be used in establishing salaries for positions in the Graded Division.
