Resolved, That upon the petition of
James Jones and others, that section
of public alley hereinafter described
be and the same hereby is vacated and
discontinued as a c alley:
That part of the east -west alley
being described as the north 26 feet
of the east 10 feet of Lot 19 and the
north 26 feet of the west 20 feet of
Lot 20,-West Side Land and Cottage
Co's Subdivision of Block 36 of
Brown and Jackson's Addition to
West St. Paul;
subject expressly to the following con-
ditions and reservations:
1. That the description for the vaca-
tion be as follows: vacate that part
of the east -west alley being de-
scribed as the north 26 feet of the
east 10 feet of Lot 19 and the north
26 feet of the west 20 feet of Lot 20,
West Side Land and Cottage Co's
Subdivision of Block 36 of Brown
and Jackson's Addition to West St.
Paul;
2. That the vacation be subject to all
the terms and conditions of Section
228 of the Legislative Code, as
amended, regulating the procedure
and prescribing conditions for the
vacation of public grounds, streets,
alleys and highways in the City of
St. Paul;
3. That the petitioners pay to the City
the sum of y150 to cover the consid-
eration for the vacation of the por-
tion of the alley heretofore de-
scribed and to cover the City's quit-
claim deeds to the petitioners for the
area vacated;
4. That the petitioner provide the City
with a bond in the amount of
$1,000.00;
5. That the petitioner file an accept-
ance of the terms of the vacation in
accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance No. 13309, said acceptance
to include a provision that the
transaction will be completed within
the time limitation set forth in Ordi-
nance No. 13309, adopted August 30,
1966; be it
Further Resolved, That the Commit-
tee on Lands is hereby directed to pro-
ceed with the sale of said lands under
the terms of Ordinance No. 13309, and
to report its findings and recommenda-
tions to the City Council.
