WHEREAS, plain clothes police officers, pursuant' to
Ordinance No. 13301, adopted August 4, 1966, and uniformed
police officers, pursuant to Chapter 487 of the Saint Paul
L�egislative Code, are entitled to an allowance for certain
items of clothing, and
WHEREAS, there are ttumerous accounting and reporting
' advantages to establishing separate funds in order to accomplish
the Council's intentions, as detailed in the hereinbefore men-
tioned ordinances, in this matterj now, therefore, be it •
RESOLVED, That the City Comptroller is hereby authorized
and instructed to establish a Plain Clothes Officers'Clothing Trust
Fund and a Uniformed Officers ' Clothing Trust Fund and to assign a
. suitable account number to said Trust Funds.
