In the Matter of grading and surfacing .with bituminous material the alley in
Wakefield Place'from Cypress Street West approximately 320 feet to and including
: the alley turn- around. Also construct a sewer-in an- easement to be obtained -on,
under and across the West 4 feet of the East 8 feet of Lot 5, Wakefield Place
from Wilson Avenue,to the alley in the rear of said`lot
under Preliminary Order 230431 approved October 5, 1966
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the' above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: ,
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to-be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to grade and surface with bituminous material the alley in Wakefield Place from
Cypress Street West. approximately 320 feet to and including the alley turn - around.
Also construct a sewer in an easement to be obtained on, under and across the
West 4 feet of,the East 8 feet of Lot 5, Wakefield Place from Wilson Avenue to
the alley in the rear of said lot
with no alternatives, . and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4,612.09
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 20th day of
necemhAr, 1946 , at the hour'of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
- House and City Hall_ Building in the lCity of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
