WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 179. 52 states in part that
"Organizations of public employees shall be granted recognition
by a governmental agency according to the extent to which they represent
employees of the governmental agency... 'I; and
WHEREAS, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local
Union Number 110 has represented certain skilled craftsmen in the City
service for many years, and since Local 110 represents this same type
of employee outside of the City service; now therefore,.' be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul recognizes
the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union Number 110
as the bargaining agent for the employees in the following classes of positions:
Electrician
Electrician Foreman
Electrician General Foreman
General Lighting Foreman
Lighting Foreman
Lighting Repairman
Lighting Repairman Helper
Police and Fire Alarm Lineman
Electrical Inspector
