COMMISSIONER DATE
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the action of the Purchasing= —: Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract to INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COMPANY for furnishing
and delivering to the Department of Public Safety Repair Shop, 1441 Rice Street, four
Model 1967 Panel Type Trucks at a total cost of $10,126.40 in accordance with City
specifications therefor and the Formal Bid #2014 of said International Harvester
Company less $2,400.00 for trade -ins of four International Travelalls, Serial
Numbers SB53339A, SB533053A, SB533363A and SB533099A, making net amount 6f contract
$7,726.40, such bid being the lowest and said Thternational Harvester Company being
a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City-officials are
hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
