WHEREAS, Thomas G. Burke, anitemployee of the Department of
Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party
accident on February 159 1966, while engaged in the performance
of his duties for said Bureau; and
WHEREAS, said employee was disabled from work for a period
of time, being paid salary in the amount of $25.99; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated between said employee
and the other party involved in said accident; out of which the
City will receive the full amount of its subrogation interest by
reason of injury to its employee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED', That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to execute the necessary releases therefor and to accept in full,
final and complete settlement of its claim herein draft of Great
Central Insurance Company in the amount of $150.009 out of which
the City will receive $25.99 to be credited to the Police Depart-
ment Salary Fund, and to issue a draft payable to Thomas G. Burke
in the amount of $124.01.
