Byrne, Mayor �8,2 and Members of the City Council Subject.: 217 -219 McBoal Street Gentlemen; The following is a report of the Building Department on conditions of the property known as 217 -219 McBoal Street. The owner of record of 217 McBoal Street is Agnes Knapp (Miller), deceased, and Matt Miller may have an interest. The owner of record of 219 McBoal Street is Mollie Alpert, and the following appear to have an interest: Libby Siegel, Guardian for Mollie Alpertt and John Schmid, Property Manager for Alpert Properties.' The legal description of the property at 217 McBoal Street is, Except the West 50 feet* the South 80 feet of Lot 8, Block 5, Leach's Addition to Saint Paul. The legal description of the prop- erty at 219 McBoal Street is, the South 80 feet of the West 50 feet of Lot 8, Block 5, Leach4s Addition to Saint Paul. Inspection was made October 25, 1966 and the following is the inspector4s report on the property as described above. This prop- erty is classified as a duplex of frame construction, two and one - half stories in height, approximately 46 feet wide, 50 feet long and 30 feet in height. EXTERIOR The exterior is in very poor condition. The mortar joints in the brick veneer are eroded and crumbling, the outside porches, stair- ways and railings are all dilapidated and rotted to the extent that they are dangerous. There is evidence that the roof is leaking, the cornice trim boards are rotted and in some areas falling off, and the windows and doors are broken and hanging loose.
