This is written in response to the application for a
Permit to reconstruct an existing filling station at the
southeast corner of Arcade Street and Maryland Avenue.
This property is described as Lots 13, 14 and 15, Block 1,
Eastville Heights-Addition.
This'matter was considered at the October 6, 1966 Board
of'Zoning meeting. The staff reported that the plans
meet the design standards for this type facility and that
the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the plans as to traffic
and recommends approval. Therefore, the Board of Zoning
recommends that the permit be granted.

Dear Sir:
In regard to the application made by Texaco Inc., for
permission to remodel a filling station on the S.E. corner of
Arcade and Maryland.
They wish to install three (3) islands, six (6) pumps
and four (4) 16,000 gallon underground gasoline storage tanks.
We have investigated the foregoing and report that this
installation will be made in accordance with the rules and
regulations of the St. Paul Fire rrevention Code.
We, therefore, recommend that permission be granted.
