WHEREAS; The City Gouncil, as provided by law, has authorized
the Department of Parks And Recreation And Fublic Buildings to
enter tipon the premises known and described as No. 670 Mercer
Street in the City of Saint Paul, and to tear down and remove
, the drive-in building thereon as b.eing unsafe and dangerous to
life, limb and adjoining property, and
WF�REAS, Pursuant to such Council action, bids for the tearing
� do�Nn and remoyal of said building were duly advertised for in , .
_ accordance with the prouisions of the City Charter, and the
� lowest bid was in the sum of $393.00 and the expenses of the
� Department of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings. in
connection with condemnation proceedings and writing specifica-
tions� amourited to $78.92, making a total of $471.92,, and
WHEREAS, There are no funds now appropriated in the Building
Wrecking Emergency Fund for the Wrecking and removal of said .
drive-in building; ebe it -
RESOLVED, That said sum be paid out of the Wrecking Buildings-
_ Demolition Account 0976-256 and that in the event said sum
proves to be collectible from the owner of the premises, same �
is to be credited to 0976-256.
