OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK C UNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY . , � � COMMISSIONE ' � DATF _ i .Whereas, The City Architect, having requested the City Coun- cil to hold a public hearing to consider the advisability of or- dering the repair or- wrecking and removal of the dwelling at . 660 Portland Avenue, more particularly described as North 100 feet of Lot 11, Block 16, Holcombe' s Addition to Saint Paul, accord- ing to the plat thereof filed of record in the Office of the Reg- ister of Titles in and for said Ram�ey County, Minnesota, the Coun- cil held a public hearing on July 7', 1966 to consider the matter; now, the'refore, be it Resolved, That the City Council, having heard the matter here- in, does hereby approve and adopt as its own the findings and con- clusions of the City Architect that the said structu�e constitutes a hazardous building, as defined by Chapter 393, Minneso ta Laws of � 1965, by reason of its inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, physi- cal damage, unsanitary condition, and abandonment, and that it . constitutes a hazard to the public health, safety and welfare, as more fully set out in the attached letter to the City Gouncil, dat- ed June 14, ,1966, which letter is incorporated herein by reference; - and be it • Further Resolved, Th_at the City Architect, on behalf of the City Council, is hereby authorized and directed to execute an Orcler - to the last known owner of record of the prop�rty, as well as other interested parties, pursuant to Chapter 393, Minneeota Laws of 1965 to correct the hazardous condition or wreck and remove the hazardous building located on said property, and to inform the owner that unless such correcti�re action is taken to comply with the Order, or an Answer served upon the City of Saint Paul, a Motion for Summary Enforcement of this Order will be made to the Aistrict Court, and all nece•ssary expenses incurred by the City of Saint Paul in taking any corrective action hereiri will be assessed against the real estate and collected as other taxes.
