- WHEREAS, Eugene Verdick, an employee of the Department of Public
Works, was injured in a third party accident on February 9 , 1.966 ,
_while engaged in the performance o�f his du�ies; and
� WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount of
$177.00 therefor; and � � �
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated between said employee
and the other party involved in said accident in the total amount of
. $950.00 , out of which the City will receive the. full amount of its
�subrogation interest by reason of injury to its employee, $177.00 ,
now, therefore, be it

•RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby authorized to
•accept and endorse the draft of the Reliance Insurance Company in the
amount of $950.00 , payable to the City of St. Paul• and Eugene F. Verdiek,
to accept� from said sum the amount of $177.00 , to be credited to the
-Workmen.'s Compensation Account of the G�neral Fund, to issue the City's
draft� for the remaining $773.00 payable to Eugene F�. Verdick; further
to execute any necessary releases th�refor.
