COUNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM

RESOLUED, That the Minnesota Historical Society,f be permitted to proceed,
at their own peril� to quarry limestone from a tract of property owned by the
City of St. Paul and declicated for street use located on the south side of
Shepard Road between Homer Street and 700 feet east of Homer Street, subject to
� all of the terms and conditions of the proposed Ordinance No. �13266 that in
� the event said ordinan�e is not passed by the Council of the City of St. Paul ,
the Minnesota Historical Society agrees to restore the said tract of property to
the satisfaction of the Cfiief Engineer, City of St. Paul , Minn�sota, and be it
further
.�
RESOLVED, That during the period of quarrying the Minnesota Historical
Society must agree to protect the City of St. Paul and the public according to
the pertinent provisions of said Ordinance No. �3266 and be it further
RESOLVED, That during the period of quarrying the Minnesota Historical
Society will cooperate with City Contractors on this site and City Contractors�
needs shall take precedence, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Minnesota Historical Society accept the
terms and conditions herein and the terms and conditions of the proposed
ordinance in the form of a letter signed by a duly authorized officer of the
corporation which shall be filed with the City Clerk of the City of St. Paul
within five days of the passage of this Resolution.
