WI�REAS, the date of Thursday, July 28, 1966, has been
selected as the date for the annual picnic for the City and
County employees, to be held in Highland Park, in this City;

W�REA.S, the members of the Council of the City of
Saint Paul feel that this event does much to promote a ,
; wholesome and beneficial relationship between and amo�; Citp
and County-employees; and .
W�REAS," the Council members desire to encourage the
attendance of the employees; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the head of each department of City
government be and he hereby is authorized and directed to
release for one-half day, with pay, those employees who wish
to and do attend the picnic on July 28, 1966, provided �that
such departments are directed to maintain skeleton crews on
the job to conduct the business of the City.
