RBSOLV$D, That the Payne Avenue Business Asaociation in conjunction
with and for the purposes of its conduct of its annual public festival,
hereby is granted the use of the public sidewalks on Payne Avenue on
July 22nd and 23rd, 1966, for the public sale and display of inerchandise
at various locations upon which various business establishments abut,
under the supervisioa and subject to the direction of the Commissioner
of Public Safety and the Co�issioner of Public Works, expressly subject '
to the following provieions, terms and conditions:
l. That at all times said permittee shall provide clear passage
space on all of the aforesaid public sidewalk areas adjacent to the curb
� line, for safe pedestrian travel.
2. _That said permittee shall under the supervision of said
Commissioners thoroughly clean and make complete restoration of said
public sidewalk areas immediately following said permitted use of the ,
• same hereunder.
� 3. That said permittee shall fully protect, defend, and iademni£y
the City of Saint Paul, its officers, agents, servants, and employees
against all liability on account of injury to person or property '
occasioned by or connected with the exercise of this permit for the
use thereunder of aay subject public sidewalk area.
4. That said permittee, by its written acceptance of this
resolution filed with the City Clerk of said City prior to July 22nd,
1966, shall become and be bound unto said City for the full and faithful
performance of all of the provisions, terms, and conditions of this
resolution thereby provided to be performed by it. -
5. Said permittee, at its own cost and expense, shall procure and
maintain during the life of said permit, public liability casualty insurance
coverage indemnifying said permittee and said City, and the officers,
ageats, servants and employees of the latter against aay and all liability
on account of injury to persoa and/or property resultant from the exercise
of said permit, in the amount of $250,000 on account of peraonal injury
occasioned bq a single accident, and in the amount of $25,000 on account
of injury to property occasioned by a single accident, approved by the
COUNCILMEN Corporation Counsel of said City, and evidenced the same by
Yeas Nays Proper documents filed with Adopted by the Council �� �n� n i. tUf6 19—
the Comptroller of said City on or
