RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Purchasing Committee theref�r
and hereby awards contract to PRICE BROTHERS COMPANY tor furnishing and de].ivering to the
City Water Department to spur track to be designated, St.Paul, Minnesota. approx. 472 Lin. Ft.
16" Prestressed Concrete G�linder Pipe, class 150, with rubber and steel flexible tied 3oint
(clamp type) and all necessaxy fittings and appurtenances, in accordance with City bid
specifications therefor and hered:�- attached and the Formal Bid �1719 of said Price Brothers
Company for the contract price of approximatelp $5630.96 (Board of Water Commissioners
reserving the right to increase the contaact by an amount not to exceed twenty per cent of
the quantity indicated), such bid being the lower and•said Price Brothers Companq being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby ia directed to
draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City otSaint Paul,
